Berserk, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Hellsing.

I would've put just Berserk but this forum doesn't like short messages...

I forgot one in my previous post that I'd have to say ranks up at the top of my list: Last Exile. Good plot line, great animation(mix between animation and CG).

Bleach is good- I'm curious as to how that one's going to end up, Mai HiME is interesting(didn't think I'd like it at first, but the plot is twisted enough to make it definately worth watching). I've had Samurai Champloo and Beck recommended to me strongly, but I haven't had the opportunity to watch them yet.

My faves include Naruto and Bleach, and I really like Last Exiles visuals!

I'd recommend Appleseed 2004 but its a cg movie remake of the original anime! Well worth checking out if you haven't seen it yet! The animation is very original, the way they cg'd it and then handpainted it over the top creates a very unique style imo!

Sometimes I catch Dragonaball GT before Futurama and Family guy and I usually enjoy that.

There are a lot of anime's out there that I would not suggest for first time anime viewers and that would probably #1 on my list. I feel that most of the anime's cartoon network shows are relatively safe.

If I could rip them all I would probably put them somewhere where people could get access to them.. but my comp has not the room for 39 episodes of Lodoss.

I don't think they will start the second series... Although if they do that'd be great, until then I'll stick with the manga since the ending of Berserk left a bad taste in my mouth, so many unanswered questions.

Man there are a lot of good ones but i hate it when people say the ones on cartoon network even if they are uber good. Sorry but i'm really hardcore and i don't like mass media. I love Ghost in the shell personally one of my favorites.

Robotech would have to be my all time favorite it got me into anime.

I have the whole series of lodoss i got mine at Sam Goodies and lost my arm and leg at the same time hmmm wierd.

Betterman also rocks but man is that one screwed up. Prolly my other all time favorite is Fooly Cooly. I love it.
Arigato. Oh ya if you guys ever get the chance to see Excel saga holy shiz is that show funny.

If you guys want some hardcore ones check out Demon city Shinjuku and Akira. Those are great classics.
